These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Billback ("Service"), operated by NEXTWV INC. ("Billback", "we", "us"). By creating an account, installing the Billback mobile application, or using the web application at billback.app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Billback. Billback is designed for adults tracking work-related expenses and is not directed at minors. If you are using the Service on behalf of an employer, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at appbillback@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used to violate these Terms or to harm other users.
You agree not to:
Receipts, expenses, notes, tags, and any other content you upload remain your property. You grant Billback a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, and display that content solely as needed to operate the Service for you (for example, syncing across your devices, generating PDF exports, running OCR on a receipt image at your request). We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for training machine-learning models.
We aim to keep Billback available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for downtime, data sync delays, or temporary errors.
Billback is currently provided free of charge. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paid tiers. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will update these Terms and present pricing, billing cadence, and cancellation terms at the point of purchase before any charge is made.
You can delete your account at any time via the in-app account menu (Settings → Account → Edit profile & security → Delete account) or at billback.app/account-delete. Deletion permanently removes your expenses, receipt images, tags, and settings from our active systems promptly (typically within minutes); residual copies in operational backups are overwritten on the cycle described in our Privacy Policy. We may terminate or suspend your account for material breach of these Terms; in that event we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data unless legally prohibited.
Billback, the Billback wordmark and logo, the user interface, source code, and product design are owned by NEXTWV INC. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of OCR or category guesses, and uninterrupted availability. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of every expense, total, and PDF before submitting it for reimbursement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NEXTWV INC. and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NEXTWV INC. from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that the parties cannot resolve informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you consent to that jurisdiction. Nothing in this section removes any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you have under your local law.
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
